Born during the war, I learned the value of hard work and sacrifice at an early age. As a young man, I began my career as a factory worker in a metalworking plant in Naples. Over time, with determination and passion for my craft, I rose to the position of team leader and earned the title of highly specialized worker. Later, I continued my professional journey in a refinery, where I led a team of workers for several years. It was an intense and formative experience, but deep inside, I always held onto a dream: the sea. At the age of forty, with the savings of a lifetime, I decided to make that dream come true. I bought a boat and began a new life as a fisherman. Since then, whenever the weather allows, I go out to sea with my son Giuseppe, who chose to follow in my footsteps. Fishing has become not just a job, but a shared passion—a deep bond between father and son, and with the sea, which I have always felt is my true home.
