Marco was born into a large family, and his father was a fisherman. At the age of 6 he started fishing with him, looking between the rocks for octopuses. These fishing activities enchanted him so much that in third grade he mastered the skill of making nets.
At 15 he decided to embark for the first time, and he hasn't stopped fishing at sea since.

I Wayan Budi is 50 years old and lives in Denpasar. He is married to Ni Made Erniasih and has one son. He recently discovered KUB Segara Guna Batu Lumbang, in fact he only joined the fishing community in 2018, even though he has been a fishing passionate since childhood. In addition to being a fisherman, he also sells fruit.

My name is Carmine, I am 47 years old, and I love everything about being a fisherman. It is a tradition that has been passed down through generations in my family, and thanks to this work, I have had the fortune of making many friendships. For this reason, I want to share this passion with everyone.
I have recently renovated my boat to start ecotourism, taking people to discover the wonders the sea hides. Additionally, I plan to open a small restaurant on my boat, where visitors can enjoy the delicacies I catch directly from the dock.
Unfortunately, plastic in the sea not only harms the environment, fish, and birds, but also us fishermen. The nets frequently break because of the waste that gets tangled in them, forcing us to spend a lot of time and money repairing them, often mending them by hand.
